We are actively interviewing candidates for Director-Conference Marketing and Media.

The Director, Conference Marketing and Media is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of marketing plans for conferences, advertising sales, and other media projects. This individual has proven experience with demand generation, marketing automation systems (Marketo preferred) as well as CRM systems (Hubspot) and other lead generating technologies.


The Director, Conference Marketing and Media requires a team leader, strategic thinker, problem solver, and a person that possesses a well-rounded digital skillset. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation programs across multiple outbound and inbound channels including: email, content marketing, search and social advertising, PPC, etc.

  • Manage team of marketers executing event campaigns

  • Leverage marketing automation tools, CRM and data analysis to bring scale to demand generation programs

  • Measure and analyze data to report on campaign performance and to develop recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborate with sales team to build programs that support sales enablement and pipeline growth

  • Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate throughout all marketing touch-points

  • Ensures marketing design meets or exceeds industry standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or similar relevant concentration 3-4 years hands-on B2B experience in inbound and demand generation (lead generation and nurturing, campaigns execution and measurement)

  • Intermediate HTML and CSS skills

  • Marketo Certified Expert highly preferred

  • Hubspot certification a plus

  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to develop creative solutions and business decisions

  • Creativity is a must, bringing new ideas to the table is a key to success in this role

  • Strong collaboration skills; able to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

  • Experience with list building, management, cleansing, de-duplication, and segmentation

  • Experience including, but not limited to: email marketing, website marketing, PPC, SEO, retargeting, social marketing

  • Intermediate-Advanced spreadsheet capabilities including functions, pivot tables, and lookups
