Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Engineering to join our team and play a key role in advancing our wireless automated solutions and industrial instrumentation offerings. This individual will serve as both a technical expert and business development professional, bridging the gap between engineering innovation and client needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and help the organization scale and grow strategically. This person will influence solution design, articulate value propositions clearly, and drive revenue growth through a combination of technical expertise, commercial insight, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

ï‚· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert consultation on technical products and solutions.

ï‚· Support the ongoing development and commercialization of wireless automation technologies, IoT systems, and industrial instrumentation.

ï‚· Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.

ï‚· Present complex technical concepts in clear, compelling ways for both technical and non-technical audiences.

ï‚· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic account development and market intelligence.

ï‚· Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and site evaluations to support customer decision-making.

ï‚· Provide feedback from the field to influence product enhancements and new technology initiatives.

ï‚· Prepare proposals, RFQs, and technical documentation that align with company standards and client requirements.

ï‚· Stay current with emerging industry technologies, market trends, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

ï‚· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.

ï‚· 7+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or field engineering within the oilfield services, automation, or industrial instrumentation sectors.

ï‚· Proven success in consultative sales and solution-based selling.

ï‚· Strong understanding of control systems, wireless communication technologies, and process instrumentation.

ï‚· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

ï‚· Ability to travel as needed to customer sites, field locations, and industry events.
