Position Summary:

 

Program Management is a sub-function under the Head of Business Operations and is responsible for driving large, complex, multi-phased initiatives that help deliver Product/Tech and Business & Operations Capabilities.

 
Program Management is an enabler by playing a critical role in initiating programs, defining, structuring, and building a deliverable-based plan in leading cross-functional teams to focus on creating business value and meeting strategic objectives. The Program Management function receives guidance from top management and requires a high level of initiative and problem-solving ability in a highly dynamic environment.


As an essential part of this role, you will set up the Integration Management Office to drive the development of overall integration plans, including all the integration projects, communications plans, and synergy benefits.

 
Essential Responsibilities:

As a Program Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Define and manage integration processes, including functional work plan reviews, cross-functional collaborations, issue management, and executive status updates.

  • Manage stakeholder communications, including company executives, functional resource owners, and acquired company management.

  • Drive the pace of integration, disciplines, and protocols for execution.

  • Track continuous improvements such as measuring and surveying various functions and incorporating feedback into updated integration processes.

  • Work with the senior leadership team to understand long-term capabilities/initiatives that must be managed in line with the Organizational/Functional goals.

  • Assist the senior leadership team by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, providing escalation management, anticipating, and making tradeoffs balancing the business needs versus constraints.

  • Clearly articulate & communicate program status to the Head of Business Operations and CEO.

  • Besides managing and executing cross-functional Programs, you will also need to help drive the Strategy Setting & Review exercises like OKR Finalization and Quarterly/Monthly OKR Reviews.

  • Define the schedule for product delivery through a company-wide cadence and establish release management processes.

  • Help to determine optimal resource allocations.

  • Confer with technical leads, product management, and partners in all aspects of planning and tracking.

  • Create regular reporting and tracking artifacts.

  • Oversee the maintenance of project repositories for documentation, tracking, and other resource material for effect reference by the teams.

 

Education:

  

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates who possess a combination of equivalent education and experience will also be considered.

 

Knowledge and skills:

 

  • More than eight years of industry experience, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in project/program management addressing business needs & outcomes.

  • Exposure to large, multi-team technical programs/initiatives directly addressing end customers’ pain points/business outcomes.

  • A very good understanding of Program Management methodologies, particularly Agile methodologies, and know-how in implementing & adapting them.

  • Relevant academic background, preferably at the master’s level.

  • Ability and previous success in handling multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Experience using one or more tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project.

Special Requirements:

 

The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in US/Canada.
