Position Overview

​

Our client is seeking a Director of Technical Sales – Measurement Systems (PT) to lead and scale our technical sales efforts in a major U.S. oil basin. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth while serving as a senior technical authority for pressure, temperature, and production measurement solutions.

​

This is a hands-on, field-oriented leadership role. You will actively prospect, sell, support customers, and influence solution design, owning all aspects of the technical sales lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities​

​

  • Serve as a senior technical advisor to customers on pressure, temperature, and production measurement systems

  • Lead technical discovery, solution selection, and value articulation

  • Conduct field visits, site evaluations, and technical presentations

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned basins

  • Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams

  • Provide field feedback to influence product improvements

Experience And Qualifications

​

  • 10+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or field engineering

  • Deep hands-on experience with PT and production measurement systems

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • Must be based in a major U.S. oil basin

​
